Teamlead Product Designer Womenswear (m/w/d)

The Teamlead Product Designer Womenswear is responsible for the creative development of new ready-to-wear fashion concepts and collections for the European market. This includes overseeing the entire collection process from initial sketches to final execution, collaborating closely with a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of modern womenswear collections for the European market
- Overall responsibility for the entire collection build-up - from theme research to final compilation
- Independent trend, market, and material research, as well as transfer of relevant insights into creative designs
- Creation of briefings, line plans, tech packs/stylesheets, as well as selection of suitable fabrics, prints, and processing techniques
- Close collaboration with product development, technology, and suppliers - including fittings, sample evaluation, and final production release
- Continuous analysis of trends and competitors (store checks, trade fairs, online research) for the strategic further development of the collection
Requirements
- Completed degree in fashion design or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a (senior/lead) designer in ready-to-wear womenswear development
- In-depth knowledge of materials, fit, processing, and collection creation
- Secure handling of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as experience in the professional design process
- Distinct sense of trends and passion for womenswear, aesthetics, and target group understanding
- Structured, reliable way of working, as well as routine in working within defined collection and production cycles
