The Senior UI/UX Designer will work within the Rail Digitalisation Division to drive and deliver the Railway Common Data Platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs for complex, data-rich applications.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences for complex, data-rich applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Translate complex technical requirements into clear, usable interfaces
- Build and maintain design systems and component libraries
- Conduct user research methodologies: contextual inquiry, interviews, surveys, usability testing
Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design for complex, data-rich applications
- Solid grounding in user-centred design principles
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, usable interfaces
- Experience in transport, industrial systems, or analytics platforms
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Figma, Experience designing for mobile platforms, Strong skills in wireframing, interaction design, and high-fidelity mockups
