Own and evolve the Onebrief Design System (ODS) to ensure it serves as a robust foundation for user interfaces. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver a unified user experience while reducing design-engineering drift.
Responsibilities
- Own a scalable component library and design token framework
- Reduce design-engineering drift by auditing and refactoring the current system
- Improve readability and accessibility on constrained hardware
- Evolve ODS for windowless, low-luminance environments
- Partner with the design org to maintain visibility into in-flight work
Requirements
- Deep experience designing and scaling design systems in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- Fluent in Figma, Storybook, and modern frontend frameworks
- Experience with military, government, or highly regulated domains is a plus
- Demonstrated experience shipping themeable, token-driven UI systems
- Expertise in accessibility for low-vision users on small and legacy screens
