Databricks is seeking a Product Designer to help define and deliver developer workflows that power how users search, navigate, query, branch, and manage compute in Neon and Lakebase.
Responsibilities
- Design and launch innovative database service features
- Integrate UX between Neon and Databricks
- Validate with users: Run usability tests and synthesize findings on at least 3 major feature launches
- Cross-functional alignment: Partner with PM and engineering to scope, prototype, and deliver features on time
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design work experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience shipping great digital products
Key Skills
- Technical fluency: Comfortable discussing tradeoffs with engineers and working within the constraints of cloud services and data platforms
- User research capability: Plan/run studies, synthesize feedback, and make data-informed decisions that move key metrics
