UNPAID VOLUNTEER - Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will produce consistent, on-brand graphics across various platforms, including social media and digital campaigns. They will collaborate closely with the Social Media Director and Web Designers to support ongoing storytelling and campaign needs.

Responsibilities

• Design branded graphics for digital and print: social posts, reports, decks, website banners, and event assets
• Turn written or verbal briefs into visually clear, compelling outputs
• Collaborate with the Social Media Director to deliver timely platform-specific visuals
• Support the Web Design team with visual assets for new modules, pages, or microsites
• Create infographics and data visualisations for reports and thought leadership
• Maintain brand consistency across all content in accordance with the BCI brand manual

Requirements

• Strong portfolio of visual design work (brand application, campaigns, layouts, infographics)
• Experience working in nonprofit, advocacy, or policy-related design environments
• Ability to synthesise complex topics into clean, engaging visuals
• Familiarity with accessibility best practices for digital content
• Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple requests
• Comfortable receiving and giving feedback in a collaborative setting
