Senior Design Engineering Manager

The Senior Design Engineering Manager oversees the design, development, and manufacturing of transformers, leading multiple engineering teams. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to align engineering initiatives with business strategies and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple teams of engineering professionals
• Oversee the design, development, optimization, and execution of designs for single-phase and three-phase distribution transformers
• Mentor and develop M2-M3 managers and senior engineers
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage budgets and resource allocation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• More than 15 years of experience in distribution transformer design
• At least 10 years of managing a cross-functional design engineering team preferred
• Experience working in a high-volume distribution transformer manufacturing environment
