The Graphic Designer will advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects while conceptualizing visuals based on requirements. They will collaborate with leadership to produce final designs and ensure that all graphics are visually appealing and on-brand.
Responsibilities
- Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects
- Determine creative needs and create design requirements
- Schedule, manage, and deliver multiple projects meeting define budget constraints
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements (i.e. Physical or Digital)
- Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software (i.e. Adobe CC, Figma, Wix, WordPress, ActiveCampaign)
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Evolve brand visuals and implement the latest design trends
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Collaborate with leadership to produce final designs
- Test graphics across various media
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Manage and execute client vision– Work with clients and internal stakeholders to understand the assignment, audience and intended message
- Create original visual designs that communicate the desired intentions in a visually appealing, creative, and unified way
- Consult with team members as needed and revise projects when necessary based on feedback
- Coordinate all production requirements and provide final approval notification
- Design and detail – Design and select graphics, clip art, and photography as needed
- Choose fonts for written copy and manufacture samples of layouts for approval by the client
- Prepare samples for the client and appropriate staff for review
Requirements
- Proven graphic design experience
- A strong profile of work showing a wide range of creative projects
- Proficient with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, and XD)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Degree in design, fine arts, or a related field
- Self-starter
- Excellent file organization
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
- Photography and Videography experience preferred
- Minimum of Three years experience in graphic design
