The Senior Systems Engineer will analyze user requirements and lead design and development activities to create comprehensive system requirements specifications. They will ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables within the Systems Engineering domain while engaging with government entities and senior executives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements, operational concepts, and system architectures to develop comprehensive system requirements specifications
  • Lead the design and development of system solutions that meet specified requirements
  • Assist users in defining requirements, suggesting alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studies
  • Develop comprehensive technical and system architecture documentation
  • Guide system development and implementation through the creation of system engineering management plans and integration and test plans

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
  • 20+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Proven experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
  • Technical Skills: Python, Java, JavaScript, React, Angular, Django
