Senior Systems Engineer - Design Leadership

The Senior Systems Engineer will analyze user requirements and lead design and development activities to create comprehensive system requirements specifications. They will ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables within the Systems Engineering domain while interacting directly with government entities and senior executives.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Examine user requirements, operational documents, and system architectures to create system requirements specifications
- Design Leadership: Lead the design and development of system solutions that meet specified requirements
- User Guidance: Assist users in defining requirements, suggesting alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studies
Requirements
- 20+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Proven experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
