Guide the evolution of the design system to ensure consistency and scalability across products. Collaborate with product designers and engineers to refine the system's structure and improve the connection between design and code.
Responsibilities
- Advance design system foundations – evolve and maintain components, patterns, and tokens
- Collaborate across disciplines – partner with product design and engineering
- Bridge design and code – work closely with front-end engineers
- Support contribution and feedback loops – help shape a healthy contribution model
- Document and communicate – maintain clear documentation
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in product design, with at least 5 years focused on design systems
- 3–5+ years in a senior/lead role with experience mentoring or managing designers
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual and interaction design, component thinking, and scalable system work
