UX Designer

G2 is recruiting a UX designer to build a clean and effective user experience for customers. The candidate will work cross-functionally to understand needs from product management, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and observations
• Create user personas based on research findings
• Create wireframes and prototypes to explore design solutions and test functionality
• Define the interaction model and evaluate its success
• Design graphic elements like menus, tabs, and widgets
• Choose color palettes, typography, and icons that align with the brand
• Create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces
• Perform usability testing to gather feedback and identify problems
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions
• Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders
• Provide feedback on engineering decisions through sketches and prototypes
• Provide guidance to developers on implementing the designs
• Analyze user behavior and feedback to continually optimize product experience
• Stay up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

Requirements

• 3+ years of design experience
• Proficiency in creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Strong understanding of information architecture and taxonomy
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
