Visual UX Designer, Fire TV

Amazon's Device Design Team is looking for a designer to lead the design of AI-driven Alexa and UI experiences for flagship products, including Echo Show, Alexa Mobile, Fire TV, Fire Tablets and more.

Responsibilities

• Help Reshape Fire TV's design system into a coherent, scalable foundation that defines how vertical experiences are built
• Establish visual language and primitives—tokens, components, and patterns—that teams across Fire TV can use to build with quality
• Drive cross-disciplinary alignment, collaborating with product and engineering partners so design principles carry through into shipped experiences
• Help refine the product's expression—typography, layout, motion, and interaction
• Contribute to culture, helping raise the baseline of design quality and showing how thoughtful craft can scale across AI-driven contexts

Requirements

• 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
• Available online portfolio
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
• 2+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience
• Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
• Knowledge of mobile and web design patterns and accessibility standards
• Demonstrative experience crafting design concepts that inform the future vision for a digital product – and collaborating with motion designers, illustrators, and content creators
• Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Interaction Design or related
