Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will develop a powerful and consistent profile for the Faculty of Engineering through high-impact creative design across print and digital media. This role involves engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver design solutions that align with the University brand.
Responsibilities
- Provide design support to the wider team and the faculty
- Work closely with Marketing Advisers, Events and Content Team as well external Creative and Media Agencies on occasion
- Establish strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver what is required using knowledge and creative flair
- Contribute to the development of a powerful and consistent profile for the faculty of engineering and design
- Engage with stakeholders and understand their needs before making design decisions and recommendations within the context of the overall University brand position
Requirements
- High level of interpersonal skills and great communication skills
- Ability to prioritise the requirements of many stakeholders
- Proactivity, energy and efficiency and an ability to inspire confidence and respect while working effectively with different groups of people and cultures
- Commitment to excellent quality and have a sharp eye for detail
- Strong relationship skills and enjoy working with others in a collaborative environment
- Initiative and be able to bring creativity and new ideas to the role
- High motivation, the ability to self-manage and exceptional organisational skills
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification
- Advanced level of oral and written English Language communication skills
