Experiential Graphic Designer

Stantec is seeking an Environmental/Experiential Graphic Designer to join their Houston team, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary design team to develop graphic solutions that extend clients' brand stories into the built environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design team to develop strategies and document graphic solutions
• Design concepts for touchpoints such as interior and exterior building signage, murals, and experiential graphics
• Develop detailed signage drawings that document designs for fabrication and installation within architectural and landscape settings

Requirements

• Knowledge of architectural drawings and process
• Understanding of materials and methods required for signage fabrication and installation
• Significant knowledge and interest in typography
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, eagerness for learning and knowledge-sharing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and deliver constructive critique
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to creative excellence
• Portfolio demonstrating a strong design sensibility and typographic skills
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
• Revit experience is a plus
• Bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design, communication or environmental design preferred
• 4+ years of professional work experience with a focus in signage, wayfinding, and experiential graphic design
