UI Designer – Design Language, Associate

The UI Designer will help evolve and mature the design system, collaborating with other designers on projects that influence various creative outputs. Responsibilities include advocating for web best practices and fostering design system education throughout the team.
Responsibilities
- Continue to evolve and refine a design language that resonates with our clients.
- Partner closely with UI/UX leadership to create design consistency and quality across the platform.
- Foster continual design system education throughout the team.
- Promote inclusive design; designing for equity and accessibility.
- Form strong partnerships with engineering teams to create frictionless design system implementation.
- Implement and maintain processes tools for UI/UX engineering team to utilize our design system.
- Review in-flight designs with Product Designers for holistic application of a design solution.
- Contribute to a culture of continual creative improvement and innovation, excellence and accountability.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a UI Designer working in a cross-functional team.
- Outstanding portfolio that demonstrates how you have created experiences that solved business and user needs.
- Bachelor's degree in design or related field, preferably master's degree.
- Refined design aesthetic and ability to confidently communicate clear direction and provide timely and helpful feedback.
- Excellent skills in Figma.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Advanced understanding of web components, interaction design, visual design and industry trends.
- Fluent in responsive design, mobile/tablet UI.
