The freelance product designer will lead the rollout of a new design language and define new interaction patterns for AI agents. They will also contribute to the design system and maintain design quality post-handoff.
Responsibilities
- Leading the rollout of our new design language, progressively replacing legacy UI across the product with a more consistent, modern system
- Defining new interaction patterns and UX paradigms for configuring, deploying, and evaluating AI agents across real-time channels
- Contributing to and evolving our design system, identifying reusable patterns and pushing for consistency across surfaces
- Design for multiple form factors: responsive web, and embedded chat widgets
- Maintaining design quality post-handoff—performing design QA, ensuring implementation accuracy, and closing gaps between spec and shipped
- Partner with founders and engineers to move fast without compromising craft
- Contribute to a high-velocity design culture focused on clarity, speed, and value
Requirements
- Experience shipping high-quality B2B SaaS interfaces, ideally around messaging, AI, or automation
- Balances speed and precision
- Confidence with ambiguity
- Operates with ownership, urgency, and independence
- Location: Berlin or Barcelona
