The UX Designer will play a critical role in maintaining and evolving the Infor Design System, ensuring consistency, usability, and scalability across global enterprise applications. This position focuses on auditing existing design components, implementing enhancements, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality, user-centered designs.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the evolution and governance of the Infor design system by introducing scalable solutions and maintaining component integrity across applications.
- Ensure design system consistency through proactive audits and implementation of improvements to align with UX standards.
- Partner with product teams to provide actionable UX recommendations that align with business objectives and user needs.
- Foster collaboration with global design and development teams to achieve cohesive, user-centric experiences.
- Deliver comprehensive design documentation and specifications to support efficient and accurate development handoff.
- Promote clear, timely communication of project status, potential risks, and blockers across distributed teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in a UX or UI design role within a software development environment.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging, contributing to, or maintaining design systems.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Strong understanding of UX and design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and best practices in product design.
- Strong attention to detail combined with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
