The Senior UI/UX Designer will lead user research initiatives, define the design vision, and create high-fidelity visual designs. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and maintain design systems for consistency.
Responsibilities
- Lead User Research & Strategy: Drive comprehensive user research initiatives to uncover deep insights into user behaviour, needs, and pain points.
- Design Leadership & Vision: Define and champion the design vision across products and platforms.
- Advanced Design Execution: Create and oversee the development of wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility, technical alignment, and seamless implementation.
- Design System Governance: Establish, maintain, and evolve design systems and style guides to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across all digital touchpoints.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design across web and mobile platforms.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs.
- Experience working in Agile or product-driven environments, with exposure to iterative design and rapid prototyping.
Key Skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Illustrator for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
- Strong grasp of user-centred design principles, including empathy mapping, persona development, and journey mapping.
- Advanced prototyping skills using tools like Figma, InVision, or Axure to simulate user interactions and validate design concepts.
