Graphic Designer

The Agora Companies is searching for a Graphic Designer to join their team in Hunt Valley, creating unique designs that tell a story and make people feel something.

Responsibilities

• Use your typography skills to create compelling layouts that bring copy to life, enhancing readability, intent, and emotional connection
• Design engaging graphics for both digital and print media, including web page mockups, book covers, charts, and YouTube thumbnails
• Collaborate closely with our content, marketing, and web development teams to ensure your designs elevate and integrate seamlessly into each project
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, especially under tight deadlines
• Stay ahead of trends and technologies to bring fresh, cutting-edge creativity to everything you do

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional graphic design experience, primarily in digital media
• A strong portfolio that shows off your creativity, layout precision, typography skills, and ability to translate ideas into stunning visual work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools
• Comfortable working in a Mac-based environment
• Solid understanding of design principles, color theory, composition, and storytelling through visuals
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• A self-starter attitude, eagerness to grow, and a deep passion for design
• Strong organizational skills and time management—you can juggle deadlines without dropping the ball
