The Senior Product Designer will shape the design vision of Dr.Bill's medical billing apps, creating user interactions that are seamless and intuitive. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn bold designs into shipped experiences for healthcare professionals across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Design Thinking: Play a pivotal role in shaping the design direction of Dr.Bill platforms
  • Design Execution: Develop detailed design solutions, from wireframes and prototypes to high-fidelity visuals
  • Craft Ownership: Own the overall quality of design, consistently raising the bar for UX and UI standards
  • Test-and-Build Approach: Lead research initiatives and deepen user-centricity alongside the Research team
  • Process Mastery: Implement and refine design processes, design reviews, and hand-off practices
  • Team Mentorship: Guide and inspire other designers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and excellence in design craft
  • Design Advocacy: Champion design best practices, storytelling, and effective communication of design concepts and decisions to stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience creating impactful digital products
  • A strong portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and polished design work
  • Mastery of design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and others
  • Proven ability to pitch ideas, inspire teams, and give/receive feedback effectively
  • Experience crafting user experiences from concept to launch, always with a user-first mindset
  • Deep understanding of design principles—typography, color, layout, and creating engaging visuals
  • Skilled in streamlining design processes, from reviews to hand-offs, finding ways to make things better
  • Undergraduate degree in Design (e.g., interaction, visual communications, product, industrial) or a related field or equivalent experience
