Senior User Experience Designer I
Collibra • Capital City of Prague, Czechia 🇨🇿
Collibra is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to join their product design team, focusing on designing intuitive and innovative user experiences for a complex data application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX design principles and a deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure design feasibility
- Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively illustrate user flows and functionality
- Designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for our complex data application
- Clearly communicating design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders through presentations and documentation
- Conducting user research activities to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points
- Analyzing and interpreting user data from various sources to inform design decisions
- Aligning your work with user personas, and journey maps to guide design processes
- Planning and conducting usability testing sessions to gather user feedback and Iterating on designs based on results
- Working closely with the engineering team to ensure designs are accurately implemented
- Participating in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Maintaining and contributing to our design system to ensure consistency across the application
- Staying up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies
- Demonstrating proficiency of Collibra’s primary UX tools and methodologies
- Articulating customer needs and the Collibra differentiation across assigned platform areas
Requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of UX design principles and practices
- Proficiency in Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- A portfolio of projects demonstrating high-quality, full-lifecycle, goal-centered interface design work in complex domains for web and desktop applications
- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira) for task management and collaboration
- 5+ years UX/UI, HCI (aka product design) experience
- Familiarity with SaaS sales concepts, data preferred
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required
- Work authorization to work in Prague, CZ
