The UX Designer will lead the design direction and implementation for FinTech products, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and other designers. They will ensure the delivery of simple and elegant user experiences while accommodating edge use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Design simple and elegant experiences for typical end users
  • Accommodate important edge use cases to assure an awesome experience across the spectrum of end users
  • Produce crisp UX graphics that encourage end user thoughts and actions
  • Understand and compliment the work of the technical and engineering development and operational staff
  • Proactively stay in touch with the end user community to assure understanding and delivery of their needs
  • Collaborate in a larger design community within Amazon to strengthen the results of specific program commitments

Requirements

  • 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
  • Have an available online portfolio
  • Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure)
  • Experience in visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides
  • Experience with UX design of complex workflows
