Product Designer, Design Systems (Mobile)

Topstep is seeking a Product Designer to shape the foundational frameworks that power their trader experiences across iOS, Android, and web. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in Product Design, 3+ years dedicated to designing systems, and 3+ years dedicated to mobile native.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Topstep's design system
• Design, prototype, and document reusable UI components and interaction patterns
• Advise and guide the Product Design team on mobile best practices
• Partner with mobile engineering to define implementation standards
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to identify emerging needs and define system updates
• Establish cross-platform coherence
• Define and maintain design tokens, accessibility standards, and motion principles

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience designing end-to-end customer-facing financial workflows
• 8+ years of experience in Product Design
• 3+ years dedicated to designing systems
• 3+ years dedicated to mobile native
• Track record of leading large-scale design initiatives
• Proven expertise designing and shipping native mobile applications at scale
• Mastery of Figma, including component variants, auto layout, variables, and design token integration workflows
