Responsibilities

- Create and maintain a scalable design system and component library that accelerates engineering and ensures consistency
- Balance speed and quality by using deep Figma knowledge and AI prototyping to iterate quickly without sacrificing taste
- Design not just the "happy path," but comprehensive workflows and edge cases that reduce engineering rework and fully anticipate user needs
- Partner with PMs and engineers to define problems, frame solutions, and deliver on business and customer goals
- Conduct user research, discovery calls, and usability tests to inform design decisions
- Write clear, thoughtful copy across the product, recognizing that words are design too

- Strong product thinking: ability to balance user delight with solving customer pain and driving revenue
