The Intermediate UX Designer will translate user insights and business needs into scalable product experiences. They will collaborate with researchers, developers, and product managers to create and refine user flows across desktop and mobile environments.
Responsibilities
- Uncover user needs, generate solutions through sketches and prototypes, validate concepts, and evolve designs based on data and user input.
- Apply research findings, analytics, and usability testing to iterate and improve product experiences.
- Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for both desktop and mobile environments.
- Contribute to and build upon the design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and ease-of-use across the platform.
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional trifecta (UX, Product, and Development) and key stakeholders to solve new problems while maintaining consistency and simplicity across products.
- Partner with developers throughout hand off and the build process, supporting implementation and participating in QA as needed.
- Help document design decisions, patterns, and specifications to support alignment and implementation.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in UX design.
- An online portfolio showcasing UX design work and process.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., User Experience Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or similar).
Key Skills
- Strong UX and visual design skills, including the ability to leverage and expand an existing design system.
- Solid understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and usability heuristics.
- Proven experience delivering design solutions in ambiguous and evolving problem spaces, with the ability to iterate quickly.
- Proficiency with prototyping and design tools (e.g., Figma, Axure, or similar).
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapting to change.
- Strong collaboration skills; able to build trust, accept and provide feedback, and work effectively across all organizational levels.
- A curious, continuous-learning mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to team growth.
- Working understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and limitations to inform feasible design decisions.
