Senior UX/UI Designer

Hypergiant is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join a multidisciplinary design team focused on creating advanced interfaces and visualization systems for defense and national security.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype command and control systems, complex dashboards, and data visualization tools
• Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure usability, performance, and precision
• Conduct user research and usability testing, integrating feedback into iterative design cycles
• Collaborate in the creation and evolution of design systems and component libraries
• Translate technical requirements into elegant, intuitive user experiences

Requirements

• A portfolio demonstrating required skills is mandatory
• Core Design Competencies
• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products or platforms
• Expertise in information architecture, interaction design, and visual systems for complex or data-rich environments
• Strong grasp of typography, layout, and color systems with attention to accessibility and hierarchy
• Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping, including component-based workflows
• Experience designing for multiple platforms and operating systems used in defense or enterprise environments
