The role involves embedding within key Commerce business initiatives to ensure strong system alignment and meaningful evolutions to the design system, Hawkins. The designer will also define and maintain frameworks for centralizing components and support scalable adoption strategies.
Responsibilities
- Embed within key Commerce business initiatives to ensure strong system alignment
- Define, maintain, and evolve emerging domain and core components, patterns, and guidance
- Create sustainable extensions of the core design system
- Develop and deliver educational programming to support system adoption
- Support scalable adoption strategies
- Champion the design system by advocating best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a System Designer
- Expertise in Figma and design systems tools and workflows
- Experience designing for payment products
- Track record of governing and contributing to design systems
- Confident in ability to break down and solve complex problems
