Staff Product Designer (San Francisco or Remote East Coast)

Lakera is seeking an experienced Staff Product Designer to lead the design of innovative products at the forefront of securing AI systems in the enterprise. The ideal candidate will thrive in complex problem spaces and create intuitive solutions for technical users.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for innovative end-to-end features that streamline workflows for enterprise security teams securing AI systems
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and security experts to translate complex user needs into intuitive, user-centered experiences
• Craft high-fidelity mockups and prototypes that facilitate stakeholder feedback and ensure smooth handoffs to engineering
• Evolve our design system and component library to maintain consistency and delight across all features and platforms
• Conduct user research through interviews and usability testing to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of experience as a product designer
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered interfaces for complex applications
• Exceptional communication skills
• Self-starter mentality with proven success thriving in fast-paced environments
• Strategic mindset that connects design decisions to user insights, business objectives, and security requirements
• Expert proficiency in modern design tools and prototyping techniques
