UX Researcher

The Experience Design Research Team at LPL Financial is seeking a UX Researcher to join their team, working with product managers, XD designers, and other researchers to bring innovative solutions to advisors.

Responsibilities

• Develop research plans, workflows, user task analysis, personas, journey/experience maps, process flows, and service blueprints
• Lead in user research through every stage of the product lifecycle
• Present findings to cross-functional teams and negotiate trade-offs between business goals, technical challenges, and customer experience
• Coordinate and take direction from the lead researcher to the assigned area of focus

Requirements

• 3+ years of user experience research experience
• Service blueprinting or process blueprinting experience
• Experience with qualitative research
• Financial services experience is a nice to have
• Skilled in moderated interviews, unmoderated usability tests, surveys, and other foundational UX research methods
• Advanced Excel skills
• Bachelor's degree or additional equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience related to user experience research & analysis
• 2+ years of experience working on a project team and meeting project timelines while managing competing priorities
• Proven ability to navigate and manage complex, high-stakes business relationships with discretion and professionalism
