Senior Analyst, Product Design

Whirlpool Corporation is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join their Global User Experience Design organization, responsible for crafting experiences that make consumers' lives easier and delightful.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Drive UX Design: Lead the design and development of intuitive and engaging user experiences for Whirlpool's connected home appliances and services
• Champion User-Centered Design: Advocate for user needs throughout the entire product development lifecycle
• Conduct and Lead User Research: Lead and conduct in-depth user research to deeply understand user needs and pain points
• Develop and Deliver High-Quality Design Solutions: Create compelling and intuitive user interfaces
• Develop and Refine Design Systems: Lead the development and refinement of robust and scalable design systems
• Communicate Compelling Design Solutions: Effectively communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders
• Explore and Leverage Emerging Technologies: Proactively identify and evaluate emerging technologies in the IoT space
• Mentor and Guide Junior Designers: Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional growth

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in a design role
• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology or Engineering

Key Skills

• Advanced knowledge of UX/UI fundamentals, usability, and accessibility principles
• Advanced knowledge of Figma and working knowledge of design systems
• Skills in communicating and influencing product design strategy
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead the design process through technical constraints
