The Senior Product Designer will plan, create, and maintain reusable components in Figma while documenting usage guidelines for designers and engineers. They will collaborate with engineering and PM teams to ensure design specifications are feasible and implemented with high fidelity.
Responsibilities
- Component Design & Documentation: Plan, create and maintain reusable components in Figma and document usage guidelines for designers and engineers.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering and PM teams to ensure design specifications are feasible and implemented with high fidelity.
- Systems Thinking: Apply deep systems thinking to solve complex design challenges and maintain consistency across multiple surfaces and products.
- Advocacy: Evangelize design system adoption internally and provide guidance to product teams on best practices.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Solid portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and user-centered design.
- Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams in an agile environment.
