Meta is seeking a product designer to create innovative experiences for their products, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The designer will be involved in every aspect of the product development process.
Responsibilities
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our 2 billion plus users
- Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces
- Design new experiences or layouts that evolve and define visual systems
- Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Facebook products
- Give and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually improve for quality
- Drive a partnership with product managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists in order to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4+ years designing complex software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design
- Experience conducting advanced usability testing and gathers feedback from varied stakeholders to inform product strategy
- Experience developing and implementing design strategies, leads design efforts, and presents to executive-level stakeholders
- Proficiency in prototyping tools and building high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts
