The UI/UX Designer plays a crucial role in creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for digital products. The designer will be responsible for understanding user needs, translating them into wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights for design improvement
- Collaborate with managers and developers to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX design
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and data analysis
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design
- Develop personas, user journeys, and information architecture
- Assist in creating and maintaining a cohesive visual language and design systems
- Advocate for the user and ensure that design decisions are based on user needs and behaviors
- Communicate design concepts and ideas to stakeholders effectively
- Collaborate with marketing and development teams for cohesive brand and user experience
- Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking to ensure designs are cutting-edge
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure technical feasibility and smooth handover of designs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Solid knowledge of interaction design and information architecture
- Ability to create and maintain design systems and component libraries
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
