Remote Full-time Junior
Junior UX/UI Designer to support the product and engineering teams in creating clean, user-friendly interfaces and user-centered design processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the design of web-based products used by higher ed professionals, students, and scholars
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA to implement engaging and accessible user experiences
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for new product features and design enhancements
- Help maintain and contribute to Via’s evolving design system
- Participate in user feedback sessions, internal product discussions, and design critiques
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional experience in UX/UI design (internships and freelance work count)
- A portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and visual design sensibility
- Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools like Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and modern web/UI trends
- Understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and interaction design
