Mixed Methods UX Researcher (Gaming domain; freelance)

Applause is seeking a freelance User Experience Researcher (UXR) to drive UX Research excellence by understanding client objectives, sampling research approaches, and working in collaboration with a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end Research: Take ownership of all phases of end-to-end research projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Design and execute research methodologies tailored to project goals and objectives
• Project Ownership: Lead, manage, and oversee all aspects of assigned research projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and as expected
• Client Communication: Effectively communicate research findings and recommendations in clear, concise, and compelling formats

Requirements

• Expertise conducting end-to-end UX Research with mixed methods analysis
• Impeccable client-facing skills
• Capacity to navigate challenging work situations & stakeholders
• Gaming domain experience
• 4+ years of experience in previous User Experience Research roles
• Ability to run a study from end to end, including preparing a research plan, survey development & distribution, data collection & analysis and presenting findings to clients
