As an Entry Level Web Designer, you'll craft custom websites that exceed customer expectations. You'll manage multiple projects, communicate progress, and incorporate feedback while staying updated on design trends.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret creative briefs to understand customer's business strategy, preferences, goals, and provided materials
- Create user-friendly, high-quality websites using web-based authoring tools and applications
- Manage multiple projects of varying complexities, clearly communicate progress, and consistently meet deadlines
- Communicate professionally with customers via email and phone as needed
- Openly accept and incorporate qualitative feedback, stay proactive in learning new web design trends, marketing practices, design standards, and coding techniques
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of solid and hands-on web design experience
- Portfolio of work
- Confident decision-making and critical thinking skills
- Trainable and open to feedback
- Customer interaction skills
Key Skills
- Knowledge of WordPress, programming, or web development
- Excellent English communication skills
- Design expertise, industry knowledge, company design standards, and available creative assets
