Staff Product Designer, Visual & Motion (Remote - US)

This company is seeking a Staff Product Designer, Visual & Motion to lead the visual and motion direction of an extensive product ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Architect the visual system by defining typography, color, grids, spacing, iconography, and data-visualization guidelines
• Translate brand direction into component-ready specifications with clear rationale, constraints, and measurable quality criteria
• Maintain visual cohesion across product UI, communication surfaces, and website through close collaboration with brand teams
• Define motion frameworks including choreography rules, timing scales, easing curves, and transition logic
• Produce motion specs mapped directly to engineering implementation, with values, logic, and interaction behaviors

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product design with strong specialization in visual systems, motion design, and UI craft
• Demonstrated ability to define highly detailed standards that scale across complex product ecosystems
• Experience designing for dynamic, automated, or intelligence-driven user workflows
• Mastery of Figma, including tokens, component architecture, and variables
• Expertise with advanced prototyping tools such as After Effects, Principle, Framer, or Lottie
