Senior UI / UX Designer (Contractor)

Full-time

The Senior UI/UX Designer will develop and deliver design concepts and wireframes that meet clients' needs and align with their business goals. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and adhere to brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver design concepts and wireframes that meet the clients' needs, align with their business goals, and provide a cohesive user experience
  • Translate user requirements, business objectives, and creative direction into high-quality design deliverables
  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for digital platforms including web and mobile apps

Requirements

  • Experienced in building component libraries, understanding component design principles, and contributing to design systems
  • Strong UI/UX experience prioritising speed over pixel perfection within realistic constraints
  • End-to-end delivery of design tasks from conception to implementation

Key Skills

  • Strong prototyping and interaction design skills (primarily using Figma, experience with SaaS preferred)
  • Experience developing and implementing brand and style guidelines
  • Experience collaborating with developers to establish a design/dev framework that's fit-for-purpose and scalable
