The Senior Product Designer will lead the design process and ensure experience consistency across digital interfaces. They will conduct research, create prototypes, and mentor junior designers while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design Process: The Senior Product Designer will play a key role leading the design process in their domain and working collaboratively with design peers to drive consistency across the organization.
- Research: The Senior Product Designer thinks strategically about how to improve the user experiences overall and will research and develop user scenarios which will be used during the design and development process.
- Testing and Best Practice: The Senior Product Designer will execute usability testing, ideally prior to engineering implementation, to ensure that solutions provided and researched will be accessible and intuitive.
- Process and Standards: This role will lead by example and help to ensure that user-centered design principles are applied through the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design and clean visual design.
- 10+ years of experience designing user experiences for web and/or mobile applications.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Ability to sketch, mock up, and evaluate interaction designs.
- Experience working within a Design System and collaborating with Product and Development teams.
