The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating high-quality digital and print materials to support the College's communication and marketing efforts. This includes designing social media posts and promotional materials while collaborating with various departments to ensure a consistent visual identity.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality graphics for brochures, banners, flyers, presentations, handbooks, and other promotional materials.
- Support branding and visual communication across the College, maintaining a unified and professional visual identity.
- Develop creative concepts that reflect the values and personality of the College.
- Produce templates and graphic assets to support internal and external communications.
- Develop promotional materials tailored to NUCK and BUV Pathway Programmes, highlighting programme strengths and student opportunities.
- Produce branded materials for CPD, Short Courses, Language Programmes (English and Chinese) and others as related.
- Assist academic and programme leaders with visual resources, such as curriculum guides, infographics, and learning visuals.
- Create graphics for social media campaigns, website content, digital newsletters, online adverts, and multimedia stories.
- Work closely with the Digital & Content Creator to ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all online platforms.
- Support photo editing, basic video editing, and layout design when required.
- Coordinate with the Head of Marketing & Communication and Digital & Marketing Team Lead to plan and execute creative content for events, admissions campaigns, and programme promotions.
- Work with Admissions, Academic Teams, Pathway Coordinators, and College Managers to deliver design solutions that meet departmental objectives.
- Communicate effectively with staff to ensure clarity in design briefs and project outcomes.
- Manage multiple design projects, prioritising deadlines and ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare design files for printing and liaise with printers, suppliers, and vendors.
- Maintain an organised library of design files, brand assets, templates, and media resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing strong design skills across digital and print media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Experience producing designs for social media, websites, and multimedia content.
- Strong layout, typography, and branding skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
