Senior UI UX Designer

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to design and optimize digital experiences for Geniebook’s products, ensuring they are engaging, user-friendly, and aligned with business objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the user experience for students, parents, and educators.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces for Geniebook’s web and mobile applications
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform and refine design decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that effectively communicate design concepts
• Maintain and enhance the design system and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of UI/UX designs
• Advocate for user-centric design principles, ensuring accessibility and usability best practices are met

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in web and mobile application design
• A strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of UI/UX design, user research, wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design
• Proficiency in Figma, XD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and other industry-standard design tools
• Experience with design systems and ability to maintain and evolve a structured UI component library
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development constraints (coding knowledge is a plus but not mandatory)
