Staff Product Designer

EvenUp is hiring a Staff Product Designer to help shape the future of legal tech and push the boundaries of how AI can serve those seeking justice. In this role, you’ll lead complex, high-impact initiatives from concept to launch—designing scalable solutions that power critical legal workflows.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the design process for a product area, from strategy to user flows and interaction design, with a strong focus on reusable components and scalable patterns
• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand internal and external user needs, translating insights into efficient, accessible, and delightful product experiences
• Create high-fidelity designs and prototypes for AI-powered solutions that scale across platforms and support complex workflows
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and AI researchers to ship high-quality features efficiently
• Use your expertise to shape product and design strategy, advocating for system-wide consistency and design best practices
• Mentor and elevate the design craft of the team, fostering growth and maintaining high standards in design thinking, execution, and system adoption

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in software product design
• Experience building workflow products for specialized power users in a B2B environment
• Experience designing interfaces for AI products
• Deep expertise in Figma, especially tooling for component libraries, system documentation, and cross-functional adoption
• Excellent qualitative user research skills
• Strong written communication skills
• Execution mindset with the ability to set and meet deadlines
• Startup experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
