Freelance Graphic Designer - Brand Projects

The Freelance Graphic Designer will develop and execute creative assets across various mediums, ensuring alignment with CALPAK's brand guidelines. This role involves managing multiple design projects from concept through delivery while collaborating with the Brand Marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and execute creative assets across a variety of mediums
• Translate design requests and brand objectives into compelling visual narratives aligned with CALPAK’s tone, style, and aesthetics
• Collaborate with the Brand Marketing team to design and execute assets that support partnerships, events and activations, product launches, signage and environmental visuals, and seasonal campaigns
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept through delivery
• Prepare production-ready files for print and digital vendors
• Support the visual execution of influencer and gifting mailers by designing unique, elevated packaging elements and inserts that reflect CALPAK’s storytelling and brand personality
• Maintain organized design files and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred
• 3–5 years of professional design experience
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory
• Portfolio demonstrating experience with social media graphics, print packaging, and brand identity projects
