Senior UX Researcher - Owned Brands

As a Senior UX Researcher, you will plan, execute, and synthesize research to create actionable insights for product development teams. You will translate research data into powerful stories that help shape Target’s products and enhance the digital experience for guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research projects, such as: in person and remote moderated & unmoderated testing, surveys, heuristic reviews, benchmark studies, concept testing, online & in-store intercepts, ethnographies
- Utilize both quantitative and qualitative research methods and know when to use one or the other
- Support product teams (product managers, product designers, engineering) throughout the research project life cycle – recommending appropriate methodology, scoping, and coordinating the entire process, facilitating in-field research and post-research synthesis through analysis
- Assist the broader UX Research team in keeping our ongoing research library up-to-date and comprehensive
- Contribute to a culture of human-centered practice within UX, product, and engineering teams
Requirements
- Preferred 4-year degree in Anthropology, Social Science, Design Research, Psychology, Human Factors, HCI, or related field
- Experience in UX Research methods, including remote moderated & unmoderated testing, online & in-context (store) intercepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to cross functional partners
- Genuine curiosity about people and experiences
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable speaking to a diverse group of people and leading conversations to discover research insights
