Own the design of end-to-end user experiences across web and mobile. Collaborate with product and engineering to define problem spaces and create high-fidelity designs for new features and UX improvements.
Responsibilities
- Own the design of end-to-end user experiences across web and mobile.
- Partner with product and engineering to define problem spaces, uncover rationale behind feature requests, and bring clarity to product direction.
- Create flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and UX improvements.
- Explore, test, and validate ideas quickly through rapid prototyping (Figma, Lovable, Replit, AI tools, etc.).
- Conduct user research and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Use qualitative feedback and usage analytics (Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.) to inform decisions.
- Evolve and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency, usability, and scalability.
- Ensure that complex workflows are expressed through simple, clean, intuitive UI that reduces cognitive load.
- Advocate for the user and champion high-quality UX across the company.
- Collaborate in strategic discussions about long-term product vision and user experience.
Requirements
- A proactive approach to surfacing problems, proposing solutions, and driving clarity without waiting for instruction.
- 4+ years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a product company (SaaS, marketplace, or similar).
- Advanced Figma skills β scalable component libraries, variant-driven layouts, structured systems, and rapid interactive prototypes.
- Proven ability to dig into the rationale behind incoming design requests, challenge assumptions, and bring a strategic lens to the problem space.
- Strong capability to justify design decisions with clear reasoning rooted in user needs, data, usability principles, and business context.
- Experience conducting user research (interviews, usability tests, feedback synthesis) and applying insights to design decisions.
- Ability to make data-informed, user-centered design decisions throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Experience working with and evolving design systems across large or multi-surface products.
- Familiarity with Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent analytics tools.
- Ability to create rapid prototypes using tools like Figma, Lovable, Replit, or equivalent to validate ideas quickly.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, async-friendly environment.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- A strong track record of shipping designs that positively impacted key metrics.
- A strong ability to simplify and clarify β turning complex problems and workflows into clean, intuitive interfaces that avoid overwhelming users.
