Principal, UX Researcher

Entegris is seeking a hybrid Lead, UX Researcher to join their team in Billerica / Bedford, MA. The role involves setting research strategy, influencing cross-functional product direction, and designing and executing research programs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to, define and lead digital business transformation initiatives through research
• Collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, operations and business leaders to map our ecosystem of users’ needs
• Establish and continually evolve the new design research practice in partnership with the Director of HCD
• Create personas, journey maps, qualitative research plans and guides, feedback and insights reports

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience, ideally including work in operational, manufacturing, or similarly complex environments
• Enterprise & Domain Expertise: Experience with enterprise tools and operational workflows
• Familiarity with dashboard design and tools used in manufacturing or supply chain contexts
• AI & Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with AI design principles, feedback loops, or agent-based UX
• Research Methodologies: Skilled in applying Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) and other outcome-focused research approaches
