Senior UX Researcher - Owned Brands

Target is seeking a Senior UX Researcher within the Enterprise UX Team to shape the digital experience for guests and team members and contribute to business growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and synthesize research to create actionable insights for the cross functional product development team.
• Translate research data into powerful stories that help shape Target’s products.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, engineers, data scientists, content designers, accessibility consultants, and site merchandisers.
• Contribute to advancing the broader practice of UX at Target through influence, impact, and craft, while also educating cross-functional teams when needed.

Requirements

• Preferred 4-year degree in Anthropology, Social Science, Design Research, Psychology, Human Factors, HCI, or related field.
• Experience in UX Research methods, including remote moderated & unmoderated testing, online & in-context (store) intercepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to cross functional partners
• Genuine curiosity about people and experiences
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable speaking to a diverse group of people and leading conversations to discover research insights
• A strong ability to tell compelling stories from data

Key Skills

• Experience in UX Research methods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Powerpoint, Outlook, Word and other MS Office software
