The Graphic Designer will translate complex concepts into visually compelling graphics and layouts while designing various materials aligned with the company's brand. This role requires collaboration with subject matter experts and executives to produce high-quality graphics for proposals and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex technical or strategic concepts into clean, visually compelling graphics and layouts.
- Design proposal materials, pitch decks, flyers, one-pagers, and digital assets aligned with Core Oneβs brand.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, writers, and executives to brainstorm and iterate on design ideas.
- Contribute original visual concepts and help refine early-stage ideas into polished deliverables.
- Ensure consistency and visual quality across all corporate communications.
- Support fast-turn, deadline-driven design needs across proposal and capture cycles.
- Maintain and evolve Core Oneβs visual identity while adapting for various audiences.
- Assist with formatting and layout of longer-form written materials and reports.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both branding sensibility and business-facing design work.
- 5+ years of professional design experience (can include internships or freelance).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience designing in deadline-driven, collaborative environments.
- Highly creative, solution-oriented, and self-directed.
- Ability to take abstract ideas and independently turn them into cohesive, engaging visuals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to receive and incorporate feedback.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued Security Clearance.
