The UI Designer will evolve and refine a design language, ensuring design consistency and quality across the platform. They will partner with UX leadership and engineering teams to implement a frictionless design system and promote inclusive design practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain design systems and processes to ensure consistency and quality across the platform
- Partner with engineering teams to create frictionless design system implementation
- Promote inclusive design and design for equity and accessibility
- Contribute to a culture of continual creative improvement and innovation, excellence and accountability
- Understand the underlying needs and motivation of clients to ensure we achieve business goals and provide value to clients
- Work closely with the research team to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and make value-driven design decisions
- Design and deliver responsive/adaptive solutions that are optimized for web and mobile interfaces
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer working in a cross-functional team
- Outstanding portfolio that demonstrates how you have created experiences that solved business and user needs
- Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferably, master's degree a plus
- Refined design aesthetic and ability to confidently communicate clear direction and provide timely and helpful feedback to keep work on schedule
- Excellent skills in Figma
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Advanced understanding of web components, interaction design, visual design and industry trends
- Fluent in responsive design, mobile/tablet UX/UI
