Lead the design of complex user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. Collaborate effectively with UX Researchers, UX designers, product & project managers, and developers throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience
- Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design specifications, while adhering to and contributing to our design system
- Collaborate effectively with UX Researchers, UX designers, product & project managers, and developers throughout the entire product development lifecycle
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior UI designers, fostering their growth and development
- Help researchers and strategists conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate design solutions
- Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of our various design accelerators and design systems
- Stay abreast of the UI design methodologies, technologies, and best practices
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility standards within the organization
Requirements
- 5-8 years of proven experience as a UI Designer, with experience of leading a small team
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in UI design and your ability to create impactful user experiences
- Expert-level proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, etc
- Proficiency in graphics design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Deep understanding of human-centered design principles, interaction design best practices, and usability
- Extensive experience working with and contributing to design systems
- Strong knowledge of usability and accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to mentor junior designers
